Beginner’s Feng Shui

Feng Shui is an ancient 5000 year old Chinese tradition which allows you to bring in positive energy, opportunities, wealth, health, abundance and happiness into your life. By making simple changes in your home/office/yard, you can achieve total serenity, peace of mind, body and spirit, and have the abundant life you deserve. Classes run for 8 weeks and you may take 1 or all of the classes. Week 1: History of Feng Shui. Week 2: The Bagua. Week 3: Floor Plan Designs. Week 4: Wealth and Partnership Cures. Week 5: Landscaping & Gardening. Week 6: I Ching and The Nine Star Ki. Week 7: Seasonal Feng Shui and Week 8: House clearings, blessings, and activations.

Beginner’s Astrology Workshop
Dates: September 12 / September 19 / September 26 / October 3/ October 10 / October 17 / October 24 /skip Halloween October 31/ November 7
This course will guide you through the meanings of the signs and planets, houses and aspects and will give you a basic interpretation of a chart and what it all means.
Week 1: Sun signs and compatibility
Week 2: Planet and natal chart houses
Week 3: Figuring out aspects (bring in birth information for next weeks class).*
Week 4: With your birth information (time a.m./p.m., place and date of birth including year), you will receive your natal chart which is a map of the sky at the time of your birth.
Week 5: Understanding patterns and aspects in a chart
Week 6: Progressions are where your birth planets moved to within a certain timeframe. See how they color your personality, traits, likes and dislikes from your original birth chart planets.
Week 7: Solar Eclipses used to predict your year ahead.
Week 8: Interpreting charts in class.
*If you dont have your birth information, contact the Health Department in the town/state you were born. The information is usually $5. Every 4 minutes makes a difference so be as accurate as possible. Do not believe Mothers unless the birth time is written down. The information is usually $5.

Intermediate Tarot

Now that you know the tarot basics, you will learn the astrological spread as well as the traditional Celtic Cross spread and practice how to read them. You will hone your skills to be more accurate and confident in your interpretations. Basic knowledge of tarot is recommended, but everyone is welcome. Week 1: Refresher of tarot symbology, yes/no spreads and Beginners spread. Week 2: Astrological Spread. Week 3: Celtic Cross. Week 4: Practice readings, questions, combinations of cards and their meanings. Advanced Tarot Class where you will get your certification in the Totally Tarot Method will be coming soon.

Week 1: Learn about your Guardian angels and how they can help you in this lifetime. Learn how they can help you experience more positive energy and bring in better opportunities into your life. Discover ways to find out your angels name and how to listen to his/her guidance. You will receive directions on how to prepare an Angel box to attract your needs and wishes. Be prepared to write down issues that you need resolved. Week 2: Continued discussion on angels and one or two brief angel meditations to help you connect with your angels. Feel free to bring a battery operated tape recorder if you wish to tape the meditations for use at home.

BEGINNERS TAROT WORKSHOP

Learn how to read the tarot cards with the Totally Tarot Method. This easy and accurate method was invented by Rev. Vikki Anderson, the instructor for this and the Intermediate Tarot classes that follow, approximately 20 years ago. This is a refreshers course and beginners course rolled into one. If you have tried to read the tarot cards on your own and need more insight into the cards, this course is for you. If you have done readings in the past and then put the cards away for various reasons and need a refresher, this course is also for you. We will learn about the symbology of the Rider-Waite deck (which may be purchased at Soul Journey or bring your own deck) in an easy and fun format. Preparation of the cards will be discussed before you can do accurate readings. Colors of clothing, skies, and other objects in the cards will be discussed; directions, foundations, balance, learning the difference between the types of mountains with important information for the Querent (person for whom the reading is being done) and spiritual guidance will all be talked about in detail so you will be ready to take the upcoming Intermediate course which will focus on yes/no spreads, and year ahead readings. The course is scheduled from 7:00 10:00 PM; however, it may run longer and if you are able to stay, you are most welcome to learn more about the cards or ask the instructor any questions that you may have. Tarot Intermediate Workshop with Vikki Anderson

This is a three week course for those who have had some experience with tarot cards. Please bring a Rider-Waite deck to class. Cards may be purchased at Soul Journey. Week 1: General discussion on interpreting the cards. Week 2: Yes/no spreads and the simple cross will be done in class and practiced with other class participants. Week 3: The year ahead spread read and practiced with pointers for more accurate readings by Vikki Anderson. This is to allow you to get comfortable with reading for someone else other than yourself. Paper and pen are recommended for notes.
Feng Shui for Health, Wealth and Happiness
